CiRxadian Privacy Policy

The short version: CiRxadian is designed with privacy as the foundation. Your medication records, sleep logs, and health data stay exclusively on your device. We don't operate servers, collect analytics, or track your health information.

Who we are

CiRxadian is an independent iOS app designed to help you track medications and sleep patterns. This policy covers the CiRxadian iOS app and the companion website used to host information and support.

Your health data is private

All your health information stays on your device. CiRxadian does not:

Send your medication records to any server
Upload your sleep logs to the cloud
Sync your data to external services (no iCloud, no cloud backup)
Use analytics or tracking that monitors your health
Require user accounts, logins, or registration
Collect or store your personal health information

Data stored on your device

The following information is stored exclusively on your device:

Your medications and dosages
Your medication reminders and schedules
Your daily sleep logs and patterns
Your primary care manager's contact information
Your app settings and preferences

This data is never transmitted to us or any third party. It lives on your phone and stays there.

HealthKit integration

CiRxadian can access Apple HealthKit data with your permission. This is purely for your convenience — to help you view and log sleep information. HealthKit data is never sent to us. Your HealthKit records remain under Apple's privacy protection.

Medication lookup service

When you search for medications, CiRxadian uses the internet to help find what you're looking for as you type. This lookup is performed via public APIs and helps you accurately identify your medications. The search queries themselves are not stored by us.

Drug interaction checking

CiRxadian can link you to Google for information about potential drug interactions between your medications. This link is provided for informational purposes only. When you use this feature, you're accessing third-party resources — we don't receive or store interaction data.

Notifications

CiRxadian sends local notifications on your device as medication reminders. These notifications are generated entirely on your phone. We do not send push notifications or track notification delivery.

What we don't do

No user accounts or sign-up required
No advertising or ad networks
No analytics SDKs or tracking
No data collection for marketing or research
No third-party data sharing
No access to your camera, microphone, contacts, or location

Important: While CiRxadian is designed for your convenience, it is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult your healthcare provider about your medications, dosages, and health concerns. Use this app as a tool to help you stay organized — not as medical guidance.

Data control & deletion

Because all your data lives on your device, you have complete control:

Delete individual medications, logs, or reminders anytime from within the app
Deleting the app removes all local data from your device
You can also manually delete app data from your device settings

Website

Our companion website provides information and support. We don't collect personal information through the site beyond what's inherent to standard web hosting (e.g., server logs showing IP and basic traffic data, which we don't use for tracking or profiling).

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.
